Salary increases include a 3% on wages and compensation from January, 2022; 1.5% from January 1, 2023; and an increase in JNG members’ rebate from the ITF Welfare Fund to contribute 20% to the IBF Seafarers Support Fund. This salary increase agreement was made between the International Bargaining Forum (IBF) and the International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) (2) and the Joint Negotiating Group (JNG) (3) last 2021.
